The COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Ended on May 11, 2023

Due to the official end of the pandemic, your plan coverage of vaccines, testing, over-the-counter test kits and telehealth services may have changed. Please refer to your plan for details.

The following COVID-19 services are in place for Samaritan Advantage Plan members:

  • Vaccines are free with no cost sharing for our members.
  • COVID-19 diagnostic tests are free with no cost sharing for our members.
  • Over-the-counter tests can be purchased through your OTC benefit.
  • Telehealth services will continue at no cost through December 31, 2024.

Your IHN-CCO benefits did not change when the public health emergency ended on May 11, 2023. However, the state has begun checking if current Oregon Health Plan members still qualify for OHP or other state benefits. This process is sometimes called “redetermination."

Between now and early 2024, the state will review your case to see if you remain eligible for OHP. For more details on the redetermination process or other state benefits that may be changing when the public health emergency ends, visit the OHA End of Public Health Emergency page.

COVID-19 Self-Testing Kits Are Still Available to Members
